How to calculate your Life Path number by hand

Reduce each part of your birth date to a single digit (1–9) or a Master Number (11, 22, 33), add the parts, then check the full-date total:

1. Reduce the month. December = 12 → 1 + 2 = 3.
2. Reduce the day. The 25th → 2 + 5 = 7.
3. Reduce the year. 1990 → 1 + 9 + 9 + 0 = 19 → 1 + 9 = 10 → 1.
4. Add them and reduce once more. 3 + 7 + 1 = 11 — a Master Number, so you stop. Life Path = 11.
5. Check the full-date total. Add every digit of the whole date as well (25/12/1990 → 2 + 5 + 1 + 2 + 1 + 9 + 9 + 0 = 29 → 11). If that total reduces to a Master Number (11, 22 or 33), your Life Path is that Master Number, even when the step-by-step total ended on a single digit. Example: 1 September 1976 gives 1 + 9 + 5 = 15 → 6 step by step, but 0 + 1 + 0 + 9 + 1 + 9 + 7 + 6 = 33, so the Life Path is the Master Number 33.
