AI Numerology: How to Turn Your Report Into a Personal AI Mentor
Paylaş
An AI numerology mentor is an ordinary AI assistant, such as ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini, that has been given a text file containing your calculated numbers and instructions for how to discuss them. The numerology lives in the file and the conversation comes from the assistant, so the quality of the answers depends on both, and on how carefully you check them.
What this page is: a plain guide to what an AI mentor file is, how to use one with ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini, what you share when you upload it and where an assistant can go wrong. What it is not: a forecasting service, a therapist or a source of professional advice. An AI assistant can make arithmetic mistakes and can sound more certain than it is. Numerology is not scientifically validated, so treat every answer as a prompt for reflection.

What an AI mentor file is
It is a plain-text document in Markdown format, a .md file. It is not an app, nothing runs on your device and there is nothing to install. In a Soul Aura order the file arrives by email alongside the PDF report. According to the setup guide that ships with it, the file holds two things: your numerological profile, and a coaching section that tells the assistant how to talk with you. The PDF is for reading; the file is for asking.
The idea is simple. A general-purpose assistant does not know your numbers and, left alone, may calculate them by a recipe different from the one your report used. Handing it a file puts your numbers and the ground rules in front of it before your first question. Because the assistant reads the file as part of the conversation, you can move the same file between assistants, and you can open it in any text editor to see exactly what the assistant is being told.
How to use it with ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini
- Open a new conversation in the assistant you prefer. The setup guide says any assistant that accepts file uploads can be used, and it names ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude.
- Attach the .md file, not the PDF. The PDF is the report; only the .md file carries the instructions.
- Send one first message asking the assistant to read the file in full and follow the instructions inside. The delivery email suggests: "This file is my Soul Aura numerology profile and coaching guide. Read it in full, follow the instructions inside, and act as my personal numerology coach."
- Ask one question at a time, in your own words, and ask it to say which number each statement comes from.
To return to the same mentor later, the setup guide describes saving the file in a custom GPT, a Gem or a Claude project. Menus change between versions, so follow the assistant's current help pages for that part.
What you share when you upload
An upload is a disclosure. The file is built so that the assistant can greet you by name and know your numbers, so assume it contains your name and enough detail to work back to your date of birth. Whatever it contains goes to the assistant's provider under that provider's own terms. Soul Aura's Privacy Policy describes how Soul Aura handles your data; it cannot describe the provider's.
- Read the provider's data controls first. Look at chat history, whether conversations may be used to improve models and how to delete one. These settings differ by provider, by plan and over time.
- Use a personal account, not a shared or employer-managed one.
- Open the file and read it once. You are about to hand its contents to a third party, and the only way to know what they are is to look.
- Leave other people out. Do not upload a partner's or a child's details without their agreement.
- You do not need the file for a safe conversation. For a general chat, give an assistant only your numbers, for example "Life Path 7, Expression 11", with no name and no date.
Where an AI assistant goes wrong
Assistants write fluent text, which is not the same as correct text. Five failure modes matter for numerology, and each has a quick check.
| What can go wrong | What it looks like | How to check |
|---|---|---|
| Arithmetic slips | A wrong total or a wrong reduction, stated with confidence. | Compare with the Life Path calculator or the name numerology calculator, and ask for every step. |
| A different recipe | A correct sum by another convention. Across the 46,021 dates from 1900 to 2025, the step-by-step total alone differs from Soul Aura's engine on 4,540 (9.9%), because the engine adds an all-digits check. | Ask which recipe it used, and compare with the Life Path guide. |
| Blended or invented meanings | Pythagorean and Chaldean readings mixed together, or traits that appear in no source. | Ask it to quote the line of your file, or the guide, that it is using. |
| False certainty and flattery | "You are clearly..." statements, or agreement with whatever you say. | Ask what evidence would contradict the reading. |
| Drift in long chats | After many messages the assistant stops following the file's rules. | Start a fresh conversation, re-attach the file and ask it to restate the rules. |
Prompts that keep a conversation grounded
These work with a mentor file or with a bare list of your numbers.
- "Before you answer, list which numbers from my file you are using and quote the line where each appears."
- "Tell me what this combination is traditionally said to emphasise, then give me three questions to reflect on. Do not forecast events."
- "Where do two of my numbers pull in different directions? Give me one question for each side, not a verdict."
- "Which part of your last answer is least certain, and what would change it?"
- "I am choosing between two options. Show how each could be read through my numbers, then tell me what numerology cannot say about this choice."
What a mentor file cannot do
It is not a person, a therapist or an adviser. The instructions inside Soul Aura's file ask the assistant to avoid medical, investment and legal advice and to point towards professional help if a conversation turns to crisis. An assistant can still drift from its instructions, which is one more reason to keep your own judgement in charge. The numerology underneath is a symbolic system that has not been scientifically validated, so a persuasive answer is not evidence that a reading is right. Is numerology real? explains why readings feel accurate, and What is numerology? covers what the system is.
Frequently asked questions
What is an AI mentor file?
A single Markdown text file containing a personal numerological profile and instructions for an AI assistant. You attach it to a conversation; it is not software.
Which assistants work with it?
The setup guide covers ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude and says any assistant that accepts file uploads can be used. Features and limits change by plan, so check what your version allows.
Is it safe to upload my birth data?
That depends on the provider's terms and your settings more than on the file. Read the data controls for the account you use, assume the file contains your name and enough to work back to your birth date, and avoid shared accounts.
Why does the assistant give a different number from my report?
Usually an arithmetic slip or a different recipe. Trust the report or the free calculator, and ask the assistant to quote the number from the file.
Can I try AI numerology without buying a file?
Yes. Work out your numbers with the free numerology calculators, give an assistant only the numbers and use the prompts above. The file saves you typing and carries Soul Aura's own instructions; it is not required for a reflective conversation.
Where the file comes from
The Soul Aura Personalized Numerology Report includes the PDF report and an AI mentor file, delivered by email, so you can ask follow-up questions about your own chart. A sample report shows the format of the report first.
